Executive Board

Officers

President: Dominic Rainville is a senior at the University of New Hampshire pursuing a major in finance and a minor in accounting. Originally from Montreal, Canada, he came to UNH to join the Division 1 alpine ski team. This past summer, Dominic interned at KPMG Corporate Finance as an M&A summer analyst. 

Portfolio Manager: Trent McGoldrick is a senior from Fairfield, CT pursuing a BS in Finance and Entrepreneurship. Throughout Trent's time in the Atkins Investment Group, he has gained exposure to the Energy and Utilities Sectors and has overseen AIG event planning. During his time at UNH, Trent has been involved in the Financial Partners Program, Outdoor Adventures Expedition Program, and the Founding of the Pickleball Club. This past summer, Trent interned at Fidelity Investments, assisting their Branch Digital Experience Team.

Vice President: Colby Sherwin is a senior pursuing a dual degree in Finance and Accounting. Originally from Brentwood, NH, Colby is a third-year member of the group where he will hold the position of Executive Vice President. Previously, he served as a Healthcare analyst, Macroeconomic Strategy analyst, and the sector leader for Basic Materials. Furthermore, he has also held the position of Director of Recruiting. This past summer, Colby interned at Citizens Bank in Johnston, RI as a Real Estate Analyst.

Chief Economist: Jonathan Rowe is a junior from Andover, Massachusetts majoring in Finance and minoring in Computer Science. This will be Jonathan’s third semester as a part of the group, focusing on the Fixed Income sector. He’s excited to learn about the different markets and dive deeper into the economy. After graduation, Jonathan hopes to work as an Investment Banker in either Boston or New York. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, fishing, and is a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity on campus.

Vice President of Operations: Jacob Overton is a junior studying Finance and Economics. Originally from Derry NH, this is his third semester with the group, and first as a sector leader, previously being an analyst in the REITs and Energy sectors. On campus, Jacob is an honors student, Dean’s List member, and is a Dean’s Ambassador for the Paul College. This past summer, Jacob worked for his hometown of Derry, and enjoys the outdoors and going to the gym in his free time.

Vice President of External Relations: Kathryn LaCasse is a rising senior pursuing a degree in Finance and a minor in Sports Management. Originally from Raymond, NH, Kathryn is a third-year member of the group where she will be VP External. Previously, she served as a sector leader and analyst for the REITs sector and an analyst for the Fixed Income sector. This past summer she interned at Fidelity Investments as a Client Relations Intern.

Sectors

Macroeconomic Team

Sector Leader: Jonathan Rowe is a junior from Andover, Massachusetts majoring in Finance and minoring in Computer Science. This will be Jonathan’s third semester as a part of the group, focusing on the Fixed Income sector. He’s excited to learn about the different markets and dive deeper into the economy. Analyst: Nathaniel Doherty is a sophomore from Concord New Hampshire pursuing a degree in Finance and Economics. This will be his first semester with Atkins, and he is excited to learn more about investing and working with like-minded people within the UNH community. Outside of Atkins, Nathaniel is the community service chairman of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and enjoys golfing, fishing, learning, and spending time with close friends and family.

Analyst: Spencer Cutt, is a sophomore from Pittsford, NY. He is pursuing a degree at Paul in Business Administration with a double concentration in Finance and Accounting. This is Spencer’s first year with the group, he is looking forward to learning as much as he can in his first year and growing as a professional. He is looking to gain experience in this group that will aid in his career moving forward. Outside of Atkins, Spencer is a member of multiple clubs on campus and is a member of the executive board of Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity.

Basic Materials

Sector Leader: Aiden Giarnese

Analyst: Quinn Lewis Is a Junior from Bow, NH, studying Business Administration with a focus in Finance at the University of New Hampshire. He is eager to learn more about investments and the stock market as this is his first year within Atkins. Outside of Atkins, Quinn is a brother of Alpha Kappa Psi, the professional business fraternity on campus. He also participates in the intramural sports program such as floor hockey and basketball. He works at the university's financial aid office and plans to seek an internship this coming summer.

Analyst: Evan Madigan is a junior from Londonderry, New Hampshire studying finance and accounting. This is his first semester in the Atkins investment group as an analyst working in the basic materials sector. Evan is currently working as an Accounts Payable Intern at Win Waste Innovations and will be interning at PWC next summer. Outside of work and school, Evan likes to spend his free time with friends and learn new skills.

Consumer Discretionary

Sector Leader: Kathryn LaCasse is a rising senior pursuing a degree in Finance and a minor in Sports Management. Originally from Raymond, NH, Kathryn is a third-year member of the group where she will be VP External. Previously, she served as a sector leader and analyst for the REITs sector and an analyst for the Fixed Income sector. This past summer she interned at Fidelity Investments as a Client Relations Intern.

Analyst: Morgan Melo is a sophomore from Dartmouth MA, studying Analytical Economics, International Affairs and pursuing a Philosophy minor. This is her first year with the Atkins Investment group, working within the Consumer Discretionary Sector.  Outside of Atkins, Morgan sails for the UNH team, and is Career Closet Committee Head for the professional organization Alpha Kappa Psi, along with being a Paul Scholar. Over the summer she took part in a REAPs research project which dived into the financing of higher education in America and worked in her favorite coffee shop. When not working, she can be found surfing, sailing, or spending time with family/friends.

Analyst: Ben Soucy is a sophomore from Manchester, NH, studying Finance and Information System and Business Analytics. This is his first year with the Atkins Investment Group, working within the Consumer Discretionary Sector. Outside of Atkins, Ben plays tennis for the UNH club team and works at the Hamel Recreational Center. Over the summer, he worked as an intern at Brady Sullivan property, learning more about the financial side of commercial and residential real estate. When not working, he does many things, such as soccer, tennis, basketball, fishing, skiing, and spending quality time with quality people. 

Consumer Staples

Sector Leader: Colby Sherwin is a senior pursuing a dual degree in Finance and Accounting. Originally from Brentwood, NH, Colby is a third-year member of the group where he will hold the position of Executive Vice President. Previously, he served as a Healthcare analyst, Macroeconomic Strategy analyst, and the sector leader for Basic Materials. Furthermore, he has also held the position of Director of Recruiting. Analyst: Josef Daniels is a sophomore studying business administration with a focus in accounting. This will be his first semester with the Atkins Investment Group where he is very excited to be working as an analyst under consumer staples. Josef grew up in Hampton, NH where he has been working as an accounting assistant for the CPA firm Youngclaus&Co since spring of 2023. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, staying active, and staying up to date on the latest financial news. 

Energy

Sector Leader: Jacob Overton is a junior studying Finance and Economics. Originally from Derry NH, this is his third semester with the group, and first as a sector leader, previously being an analyst in the REITs and Energy sectors. On campus, Jacob is an honors student, Dean’s List member, and is a Dean’s Ambassador for the Paul College. This past summer, Jacob worked for his hometown of Derry, and enjoys the outdoors and going to the gym in his free time.

Analyst: Mason Tatarian is a sophomore studying Finance and Economics. Originally from Barrington NH, this is his first semester with the Atkins Investment Group. He is enthusiastic about developing quantitative skills for his future career and surrounding himself with like-minded individuals. He has an accomplished resume, completing two internships this past summer and currently as an Investment Banking Fall Analyst at Wellesley Hills Financial.

Analyst: Alexis Tuten is a junior pursuing a degree in Accounting, as well as her Master's in Science of Accounting (MSA). This is her second semester with the Atkins Investment Group, with her first being a member of the Macroeconomic Sector. In addition to Atkins and the Accelerated MSA Program, she is a member of HerCampus, a student run and led news page, and is a peer advisor at UNH’s Financial Aid Office. Originally from Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, Alexis enjoys spending her time reading, with friends and family, and staying active. Next summer, she will work as an intern for the CPA firm, Leone, McDonnell & Roberts.

Financial Institutions & Groups

Sector Leader: Kyle Kempskie is a senior pursuing a dual degree in Finance and International Business & Economics. From Bellingham, MA, Kyle is a third-year member of the group. He was previously an analyst in basic materials and FIG. This spring, he spent the semester abroad in Barcelona, Spain. This last summer, Kyle interned at Fidelity Investments in Smithfield, RI as a client relations intern. The best advice he can give as he enters his last year of college is to have a good balance of working hard and having fun.

Analyst: Liam Hartwig is a junior from Mendon, MA pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, as well as a minor in Account and Financial Information. This is his first semester in Atkins, and he looks forward to utilizing his analytical skills to provide value to the group as an analyst for the financial institutions sector. He is eager to learn from experienced peers and further develop his knowledge of investing, as he aspires to lead a career in investing or wealth management. In addition to Atkins, Liam was previously a member of Artifex: Business Analytics club, and he is currently a member of Theta Chi Fraternity and the Financial Partners Program.

Analyst: Liam O’Toole is a senior from Foxborough, MA pursuing a BS in Finance with a minor in accounting. This is Liam’s second year in the group, as he was previously an analyst in the communications sector. He looks forward to the continued expansion of his finance and investing knowledge. In his free time, Liam enjoys hanging out with friends and family, watching sports, and going to the gym.

Health Care

Sector Leader: Melanie Yelle, is a junior from Easton, Massachusetts majoring in Business Administration with an option in finance and a minor in dance. This is her second year in the group and was previously an analyst in the financials and fixed income sectors. Outside of Atkins, Melanie is a Paul Scholar and member of UNH’s Ballet Company. In her free time, she loves to bake and hang out with friends. Over the summer, Melanie interned at Vigilant Wealth Management as an Investment Research Intern.  

Analyst: Willa Stewart, is a senior from Eliot, Maine pursuing a dual option Business Administration major in Finance and Entrepreneurial Studies. This is her first year in the group where she will be an analyst in the healthcare sector, looking forward to expanding her knowledge in investment research and decisions. Over the summer, she was a wealth management intern at Morgan Stanley’s Granite State Group. Outside of Atkins, Willa is an active member of Alpha Phi Omega, her co-ed community service group. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends, family, and dogs. 

Analyst: Mons Langaard, is a senior from Oslo, Norway pursuing a dual degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship. This is his second semester in the group. He was previously an analyst in the energy sector. Outside of Atkins, Mons is on the UNH (alpine) ski team. He came to the US to combine top academics with skiing. Next summer, Mons will have an internship within project finance where he will work with the transaction team for a company in Oslo, Norway. After that, he wishes to pursue his master's degree, most likely in London. In his spare time, Mons likes to play tennis and golf as well as hang out with friends. He is excited to dive into the healthcare industry next semester.

Industrials

Sector Leader: Amelia Magay  is a junior studying Finance and Arabic, also pursuing a concurrent master’s in Finance at the University of New Hampshire. Originally from Bedford, NH, this is her third semester with the group and first as a sector leader for Industrials, previously being an analyst in the Industrials sector. This past summer, she worked at Vigilant Wealth Management as a wealth advisory intern and has interned at two separate private equity funds previously. She is also a member of the Army National Guard and UNH ROTC.

Analyst: Flora Litvinova is a sophomore from Los Angeles, California, pursuing a degree in Economics and a minor in Business Administration. This is her first semester with The Atkins Investment Group, and she is excited to gain new skills through the organization and meet new people. In addition to Atkins, Flora is a member of the professional business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi and a peer counselor at the UNH Financial Aid Office. Her hobbies include fashion, dancing, spending time with friends, and exploring new coffee shops. This past summer, Flora was a website developer for a local business in Los Angeles.

Analyst: Ryan Juliano, is a junior from Bedford, New Hampshire majoring in Business Administration with an option in Finance. This is his second semester with The Atkins Investment Group, and he was previously an analyst in the Consumer Staples sector. He played Division 1 baseball at UCONN his freshman year before transferring to UNH. Outside of Atkins, he loves traveling, going to the gym, and spending time with friends. This past summer he studied abroad for a month in Greece.

Technology

Sector Leader: Tyler Baker, is a sophomore from Westford, MA. He is pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a double concentration in Finance and Information Systems and Business Analytics. He will utilize the skills required for his major to help him excel in the Atkins Investment Group. As a utilities sector analyst, he will look to further his investment and equity research skills to help him succeed in his role. In the future, Tyler hopes to start his career in investing or wealth management. Outside of the Atkins Investment Group, Tyler is a player on the UNH Club Baseball Team and a member of Theta Chi Fraternity.

Analyst: Shubh Amin is a junior from India majoring in Finance. This semester is his first with the Atkins Investment Group, and he is thrilled to contribute to the team while learning valuable investment skills. He has completed an internship in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) in India and spent a summer term at Boston University, further enhancing his expertise in the field. As a member of the Technology sector, he is dedicated to ensuring the sector's success. In his free time, Shubh enjoys playing cricket and watching Formula 1 racing.

Analyst: Connor McGinley is a sophomore from Exeter, NH. He is studying Finance and Economics. This is his first semester in the Atkins Investment Group, and he is very excited to help contribute to the group and learn new skills that apply to the world of investment. He is a member of the Technology sector and is eager to help the sector be successful. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and watching sports, and is a member of Theta Chi Fraternity on campus.

Communications

Sector Leader: Benjamin Garvin is a senior from Derry, NH. He is majoring in Finance with a minor in IT. This will be his fifth semester with the Atkins Investment Group. This past summer, Ben has been studying and preparing for the SIE exam while working at a local restaurant. Outside of academics, Ben enjoys playing video games, managing his personal investments, and spending time with friends and family.

Analyst: Joey Venditti is a Junior from Natick, MA, majoring in Finance with a minor in Economics. This is Joey’s second semester in The Atkins Investment Group, he was in the Consumer Discretionary sector previously. Joey is currently a brother and the Vice President of External Relations in Alpha Kappa Psi, the co-ed professional business fraternity. This past summer, Joey was an Intern for Crocs Inc. He worked specifically for HeyDude and was a Demand Planning Intern. In January of 2023, Joey was a finance intern at EPG Incorporated and that continued into the summer of 2023 and January of 2024. In Joey’s free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, fishing, and participating in intramural sports.  

Analyst: David Wu is a sophomore from Nashua, NH. He is pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. This is his first semester in the Atkins Investment Group; he is very excited to learn new skills and meet people. Outside of Atkins, David is a Paul Scholar and Hamel Scholar. In his free time, he likes to play video games and hang out with friends. 

Utilities

Sector Leader: Jayme Carr is a Junior from Kingston, Massachusetts. She is pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.  This is Jayme’s second year in the group where she was an analyst in the Consumer Staples Sector for two semesters. In addition to Atkins, Jayme is a Paul Scholar, member of the Women in Business club and is on UNH’s club softball team. Over the summer Jayme interned at WIN Waste Innovations on the accounts receivable team.

Analyst: Mike Stoddard is a Junior from Concord, NH studying Business Administration with a concentration in finance. This is Mike’s second semester in Atkins. This past summer, Mike interned at Harbour Capital Corporation. Outside of Atkins, Mike likes to hang out with his friends, go to UNH hockey games, and play golf. Mike is extremely excited to expand his knowledge of finance.

Analyst: Isabella Campion is a sophomore from Auckland, New Zealand pursuing a degree in finance. This is her first semester in the Atkins investment group and she’s excited to meet new people and learn new skills. In addition to Atkins, Isabella is a member of the division one swim team and the UNH Rutman fellows.

Real Estate Investment Trusts

Sector Leader: Ava Buckenmaier is a senior from Milford, MA pursuing a BS in Finance with a minor in Economics. This will be her second semester in the group, returning to REITs as the sector leader. In addition to Atkins, Ava supports the Peter T. Paul College FIRE Program as their intern and will be serving as a Dean’s Ambassador for the year. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. Over this past summer, Ava worked in Boston as a Wealth Management Internal Sales Intern with Franklin Templeton, a leading asset management firm.

Analyst: Tilde Kandell is a junior from Leksand, Sweden, pursuing a major in Analytical Economics and a minor in Global studies. This is her second semester in The Atkins Investment Group, and she is very excited to continue gaining knowledge in finance and investment. In addition to Atkins, Tilde is also a Rutman Fellow and a UNH alpine ski team member. In her free time, she likes to spend time outside with friends.

Analyst: Kylie Boyle is a sophomore from Ashburn, Virginia pursuing a double major in finance and marketing. This will be her first semester with The Atkins Investment Group, where she will be working in the real estate investment trusts sector. She is also a member of the Division I UNH Swim Team and is excited to expand her knowledge within finance.

Fixed Income

Sector Leader: Dylan Barriero is a senior from Norfolk Massachusetts pursuing a degree in finance. This is his third year within the group, previously a sector leader within technology, and an analyst in consumer discretionary and consumer staples. Outside of Atkins, Dylan is also apart of the ski club and chess club. Over the summer he interned at State Street working on the alpha team.

Analyst: Elizabeth Robinson-Kiang is a junior from Lee, NH, pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a focus in Finance and Information Systems for Business. This is her first semester with The Atkins Investment Group, and she is excited to delve deeper into fixed income securities and bond markets as part of the fixed income team. During the summer she went on a month-long backpacking trip around Southeast Asia. In her free time, Lizzy enjoys cooking, knitting, reading, and traveling, and has fun participating in intramural sports at school.

Analyst: Brayden Kearns is a senior from Deerfield, NH, pursuing a double major in Finance and Economics. This is his second semester in the group, where he will be an analyst in the fixed income sector. Brayden is also a member of the Division I track and field team here at UNH. He looks forward to expanding his knowledge in finance and economics. Brayden worked as a Profit & Loss Summer Analyst at Bracebridge Capital this past summer in Boston MA.
